The confirmation of Jay Clayton as Director of National Intelligence illustrates yet again, that Trump hires only unqualified sycophants to head his departments and agencies. Clayton bows to Trump’s demand that all of his lieutenants falsely deny the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s election as President in 2020.
With confirmation of Clayton the GOP is allowing President Trump to further erode this nation’s sense of ethics and its commitment to truth, the rule of law and democracy.
