Trump’s September 2026 speech at the United Nations was a humdinger. Memorable for sure. Nothing but belligerence and contempt is what he showed the World. He talked and acted as if he alone would decide whether Iran deserved to exist or would be annihilated. One has to wonder if he understood that the U.S. Congress even exists, that the U.N. was designed to help the world peacefully solve it’s problems and/or that he made the entire U.S. look like a bunch of aggressive, hawkish, psycho, imperialists out to belligerantly threaten and then militarily conquer the rest of the World.
But as Professor Jeffrey Sach’s in his video points out, what is almost as bad is the the leadership of the GOP in Congress did not condemn Trump’s speech. Once again, the GOP caved to Trump and has acquisced in letting him act like an autocrat. Our video talks about this and the absolutely abysmal record of the Trump Administration on economic and other issues and the urgent need for all voters to vote only for Democrats this November. Any vote for any Republican risks the loss of our democracy to a Trump dictatorship.
