Events are moving at the speed of light. We no more than get one video up when something happens to require us to say something else. This is clearly the case with events surrounding the murder of Charlie Kirk.
We wanted to be helpful. We wanted to do something to help bring this country together in harmony. So we came up with a fictitious speech that we thought Trump might give to help ease the tensions and pull this country back together. We give that speech in this video: [Please know that some of things suggested are probably unconstitutional, but we are/were more concerned with conciliatory tone and the basic messaging than legal correctness.]
But then Trump said somethings and we had to update what we said– and boy did we:
And yes, we do get comments and not all of it positive. Here’s a response we often use from folks who rather obviously support Trump:
“Thank you for your comment. Trump and the entire MAGA movement are infected with fascist and Russian misinformation and autocratic tendencies. Add to this the barrage of propaganda foisted upon the public by oligarch Rupert Murdoch’s Fox News, and it all adds up to a toxic cocktail that has been consumed by vast swaths of the American public for at least two, perhaps three decades. American democracy as was practiced prior to Trump’s entry into politics must be resurrected and practiced again if we are to have any sanity in government. No dictators under any circumstances can be allowed regardless of how popular they are, because in the end dictators always oppress everyone to line their own pockets. Please see https://youtube.com/shorts/6CHHobuwiGI. Trump is a convicted felon. Convicted by a unanimous jury of lying on financial records relevant to getting elected President. Colorado courts say Trump was an insurrectionist regarding the January 6 2021 Capitol Riot and 2020 certification of the election of Joe Biden. Many members of Trump’s former cabinet have either been convicted of crimes and/or disbarred as attorneys. He’s a narcissistic meglomaniac who was voted against by several highly respected Republicans including Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney. I wouldn’t trust my teenage daughter alone with Trump let alone the Presidency. It is insanely irresponsible to trust such a man as Trump with the Office of President of the United States.
