OPINION AND ANALYSIS
Well, it’s getting to the point where the American people are being beaten over the head with strong and convincing evidence that, despite what he’s previously said, Trump does intend to stick around and “run” (if that’s the correct term) for President again in 2028. We’ve said a million times before but for those new to this site, we’ll say it again. Under the Constitution, Trump is not allowed to run again for President. If he does, and if he attempts to serve, we will clearly be living under a virtual dictatorship–and we say that regardless of whether he wins the 2028 election 330 million votes to one (us). Why? Because such an election will have been won by an unqualified candidate (Trump) under duress, false pretenses and a (to use a term Trump loves) “rigged” election system. These are, indeed, very dangerous times for our nation.
Now more than ever, every citizen must be held responsible for paying attention to the news and to act to preserve our democracy. Our nation cannot afford to have folks sit back, wash their hands of it all and leave it to others.
