Through the merger of two of his companies Elon Musk’s estimated net worth is now around $800 billion. Given the vasteness and strategic nature of entire business portfolio is Musk a vital asset necessary to defense of the United States, or is he a threat to it? There’s no question that if used for the benefit of the United States that Musk and his empire are an incredible asset. In fact, baring some unforseen technological advance by another country, and/or financial collapse of the U.S., Musk and his empire, probably alone, assure that the U.S. remains the number one power in the World.
