Here is an extremely important risk that no one has adequately addressed. If we are right, the government is going to need an overwhelming amount of cash, at least in the near term, and it might well overwhelm our financial system. At that point all bets may be off about the future of democracy. We discuss why and talk about how a dictatorship could come about under such circumstances.
